Thailand's DTV, launched in July 2024, is a 5-year multiple-entry visa granting 180 days per entry, extendable once in-country for a further 180 days (THB 1,900). Remote workers qualify under the 'workcation' category with proof of foreign employment or foreign freelance clients plus THB 500,000 in savings — there is no monthly income test, but since 2025-2026 embassies strictly enforce the 90-day fund-seasoning rule and applications must be filed from outside Thailand. The fee is THB 10,000 (up to ~US$400 at some embassies), and holders may not work for Thai employers or clients.
