The Czech Digital Nomad Program, run by the Ministry of Industry and Trade since July 2023, fast-tracks a long-term visa (45-day processing) for highly skilled IT and marketing specialists, either employees of foreign companies with 50+ staff or freelancers holding a Czech trade licence. It is limited to citizens of Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, Israel, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, the UK and the US, with income of at least 1.5x the Czech average gross salary (about CZK 69,800 per month). The initial visa runs up to one year and can be converted in-country to a long-term residence permit, which counts toward permanent residency.
