Bermuda permanently discontinued its Work From Bermuda Certificate on 28 February 2025, ending the digital nomad program it launched in August 2020. The certificate had allowed remote workers to live on the island for a year (renewable) for a $275 fee with no fixed income threshold. The government cited housing availability for locals; remote workers seeking Bermuda residency must now look to alternatives like Permission to Reside on an Annual Basis or the Economic Investment Certificate.
