Armenia has no dedicated digital nomad visa, but remote workers and freelancers routinely get a 1-year Temporary Residence Permit by registering as a private entrepreneur — a fast, low-barrier route with no minimum income requirement and a state fee of AMD 105,000 (about US$270). Citizens of 116 countries can first stay up to 180 days per year visa-free to try the country out. The permit renews annually and can lead to permanent residence and eventually citizenship.
